Why Do We Verify Members?
Great question. We verify members to make sure our discounts are only available to people working in the charity sector. It protects the value of the offers and keeps our community special. In short: we check before you save—because you deserve it.
How Do I Get Verified?
When you sign up, you’ll need to verify your eligibility using one of two simple options:
Option 1: Verify with a Work Email
If you’ve got a work email (e.g., ending in @charityname.org), here’s how:
- Sign up using your personal email (this part’s important).
- Enter your work email to verify.
- Check your work inbox for a one-time link—click it, and you’re done.
🚨 Note: Your work email is only used for verification. Your account will stay linked to your personal email unless you register with the work one from the start.
Option 2: No Work Email? No Worries
If you don’t have a charity work email, you can verify by uploading a document such as:
- Charity organisation ID card
- Recent payslip (within 3 months)
- Employment contract
- P60 or other tax document showing charity employment
- Proof of relevant registration, training, or volunteer agreement
Just upload your document after registering with your personal email and we’ll take care of the rest.
What If I Don’t Have Any Documents?
If you can’t provide either a work email or a document, we won’t be able to approve your membership right away. But don’t give up—contact our friendly Customer Service Team via the Contact Us page and we’ll help you explore other options.

Once you’ve submitted your verification, we’ll review everything. We aim to be quick—but since we’re real people, not robots, there might be a short wait.

🌍 I Work in Charity—But Not in the UK
At the moment, our scheme is only available to charity workers based in the UK. We appreciate the amazing work you do globally, even if we can’t offer discounts internationally just yet.

We don’t keep your documents forever. We delete all verification data after a maximum of 6 months—full details in our Privacy Notice. Your information stays safe with us.
