Redeem in-store or online. To redeem online, you will need both the card number and pin. Customers present the the gift card to use as payment at the checkout. Each giftcard will have a unique 19 digit code which can either be scanned or keyed. Customer can retrieve their giftcard balance by visiting diy.com/giftcards.

B&Q Gift Cards and eGift Cards may be used as full or part payment for eligible products in B&Q stores in the UK (excluding concessions and cafés) and online at www.diy.com , subject to exclusions. Gift Cards cannot be used for products sold and shipped by verified sellers, purchases made via B&Q call centres, or in-store concessions and cafés. Certain card types are excluded from online use, including Euro-denominated Gift Cards (€), Decorating Cards, and Gift Cards beginning with 5045 0756 65. Gift Cards purchased in Jersey or Guernsey may only be used in B&Q stores on the relevant island or online at diy.com. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded, and no cash change will be given; any remaining balance may be used for future purchases while the card remains valid. Where products purchased using a Gift Card are refunded, the amount paid by Gift Card will be issued as a B&Q credit note, not returned to the original payment method. The minimum activation value for a Gift Card is £1, with a maximum balance of £1,000. The minimum activation value for an eGift Card is £10, with a maximum balance of £500, and eGift Cards are issued in Pound Sterling only. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase age-restricted products unless valid proof of age is provided. Gift Cards and eGift Cards cannot be purchased or used in conjunction with staff, trade, Diamond, or other discount cards, and corporate or B2B Gift Cards (including those purchased via employee benefit or loyalty platforms) cannot be used alongside trade or Diamond Cards. Please treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorised Gift Cards cannot be replaced or reimbursed, as B&Q does not store personal data for Gift Card holders. B&Q may remove value from a Gift Card if the payment used to activate or top up the card is not authorised or later defaults, and reserves the right to withhold value or refuse redemption where misuse or fraud is suspected. Gift Cards will expire if they are not used for a purchase, top-up, or balance enquiry within any continuous 5-year period, or if they hold a zero balance for 12 months or more, after which any remaining value will be lost. Promotional Gift Cards may have shorter expiry periods, cannot be topped up, and must be used within the time stated at issue. B&Q reserves the right to amend these terms or suspend or discontinue the Gift Card scheme, while allowing a reasonable period for remaining balances to be used.
